- From the main screen, tap the "Camera" icon.
- Tap the "Settings" icon.
- Locate and tap "Shooting methods." Then, tap the method you would like to try.
The available shooting methods on your phone include the following:
- Press Volume keys: Allows you to control selected functions using the Volume keys when the Camera app is open.
- Floating Shutter button: Places a second "Capture" icon on your screen in any location.
- Show palm: Enables your phone to automatically capture an image when your palm is facing the camera lens.

Once you have set up Samsung Pay on your Galaxy phone, you can use it as payment at many of your favorite local businesses. For step-by-step instructions on setting up Samsung Pay, click here.
To use Samsung Pay, follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up.
- Locate and tap the "Samsung Pay" icon.
- Tap the card you would like to use.
- Authorize the payment using your fingerprint or entering your "Samsung Pay" PIN. Then, hold your phone over the card reader until the transaction is complete. An electronic receipt will be sent to the email address you provided when setting up your account.
To access Samsung Pay when your screen is locked, you can use "Simple Pay." To enable this feature, follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up.
- Locate and tap the "Samsung Pay" icon.
- Tap the "Menu" icon, indicated by 3 horizontal lines. Then, tap "Settings."
- Tap "Quick access." Then, tap the slider(s) to the "On" position to enable or disable for each screen view option. You can now use Samsung Pay from the "Lock screen", "Home screen", and/or "Screen off."

To add a Samsung account to your new device, follow these steps:

- Tap "Sign in."
- Review the terms and conditions as needed, then tap "Next."
- Your account information will be displayed. If necessary, tap the information you would like to update and make your changes. Otherwise, you're all set.

Please note that you will need to be signed in to your Samsung account to set up Samsung Pass. Learn how to add your Samsung account.
To set up Samsung Pass, follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up.
- Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
- Locate and tap "Biometrics and security."
- Tap "Samsung Pass."
- You will be prompted to accept the terms and conditions. Tap "Continue."
- Enter your Samsung account password and tap "OK" or "Done."
- You will be prompted to register your biometric data. Tap "Fingerprints."
- Tap "Continue."
- You will be prompted to set up a backup security option. Tap "Pattern," "PIN," or "Password" and follow the onscreen prompts.
- Tap "Next."
- The position of the on-screen fingerprint scanner will be displayed on your screen. Place your finger on the sensor and follow the prompts on your screen.
- You will be prompted to scan your whole fingerprint.
- Note: To scan additional fingerprints, tap "Add." Otherwise, tap "Done."
- You will be prompted to confirm your identity using your fingerprint. When finished, tap "Next."
- You will be prompted to add "Samsung Pass" to your Home screen. Tap "Cancel" or "Add."
Once you have set up your fingerprint for use with "Samsung Pass," you can set up "Samsung Pass" to save your login credentials for your favorite websites. From the main screen, follow these steps:
- Tap the "Internet" icon.
- Navigate to the desired website and log in.
- You will be prompted to "Sign in with "Samsung Pass." Tap "Remember." The next time you want to log in to the website, you will be prompted to use your fingerprint instead of using your login credentials.
- Please note that this option is available only through the Samsung Internet app and is not compatible with all websites.

To use “Samsung Pay”, you will need to be signed in to your Samsung account. If you do not already have a free Samsung account, tap "Create account" and follow the on-screen prompts. If necessary, enter your login information and tap "Sign in." To set up "Samsung Pay," follow these steps:
- From the main screen, slide the screen up.
- Tap the "Samsung Pay" icon.
- Tap "Get Started."
- Note: If prompted to agree to the Terms of Service, tap "I have read and agree to all the items above." Tap "Next."
- If you have already set up “Samsung Pass” on your device, tap "Verify identity with biometrics instead of password" using “Samsung Pass” before taping "Sign in." Then, follow the prompts on your screen to verify your fingerprint.
- Using the keypad, enter the PIN you would like to use to authorize your “Samsung Pay” purchases. Then, enter the PIN again to confirm.
- To add a credit or debit card, tap "+ Credit/debit cards" and follow the prompts on your screen.
- Note: If prompted to allow access to Samsung Pay, tap, "While using the app" or "Only this time." Then, tap "Allow."
- Tap "Samsung Pay Home" to complete the setup process.
- To add other credit/debit cards, gift cards, or warehouse/club cards, tap the "Add" icon. Then, tap the card type and follow the onscreen prompts.
